terrible assignment

well, just had my first official english as second language (esls) class yesterday. god! my lecturer is scary! when she speaks, nobody really dared to talk. then, just as i predicted, she gave us assignment already. the assignment is: environmental issues. we are supposed to read up on that topic, present our findings on friday and next week, we are going to debate on that issue. the debate will be tournament style, which means we have to take this seriously. everything we do here is taken into consideration for our grades. god!! i can't even relax. then, she let us off for 3 days, starting from tuesday to read up on environmental issues. i was like, HELLO!!! that topic is too huge!!! she expects us to read up on that issue, present something and in the end debate???? walaoweh.... i feel like dying.... somebody please help me!!!
