My First Time!

My first time!
Of donating blood! Keep your mind out of the pig sty! Haha

Geez, I was so afraid, my Blood Pressure was so high! I couldn't even look at the needle when it was inserted...

Yet, it was fast. I think I was done in ten minutes tops. Sat on the chair, waited less than one minute, arm was cleaned with alcohol (I presume), was injected with anesthetic.. in and out, needle stuck in... BLOOD FLOWED!

Less than ten minutes later, and about 450 ml of blood less, the needle was removed from my arm.

Told to rest ten minutes, but nurse let me off in less than 2 minutes.

Wound stop bleeding already though.

Friend's bag (she started a little later after me) only half full, I am done, and have proceeded to demolish two cups of Milo and a bun.

Fun. Can't wait for the next time! In six months!

My pet project. Initially we were worried we couldn't get even 50 people.
Guess what?

So many people came we had to extend to two days.

And even so the second day some had to be turned away due to large crowd!

Net yield: 96 donors, 137 registered (some cannot donate coz on medication, not enough sleep, period etc) on day one
127 donors, 144 registered on day two.

So PROUD!

The needle phobia gal donated blood and her PROJECT was NOT a FLOP!

Celebration should be in order!

After work done la. Haha.

Oh. Went to Roman Catholic Church last Sunday. Darn nice leh... Fell in love with new song... River of Glory. Really really nice! =D
